Happy Mother's day to my mom, she had to raise me by herself after my dad passed away in 1983. Even though I am an only child, I know that I didn't make it easy for her. Still, I think that I turned out (reasonably) okay, I mean at least I didn't end up in prison, or on drugs, or something along those lines.

Your mom is the best, I agree. We are certainly blessed to have her in our lives.
Although there were a very few bumps in the road, you've always been my pride and joy; and you've been such a blessing in my life. And now, I'm so lucky to have a precious daughter (in-law) and three precious grandchildren.
