Changes are afoot...

The pro season is winding down, and changes are afoot for the 2009 season. This doesn't even take in account riders changing teams.

• CSC, now known as CSC Saxo Bank will be known only as Saxo Bank as of December. CSC is ending their sponsorship.
• Gerolsteiner will cease to exist, as they are having problems finding a new title sponsor, and their management is discontinuing the search.
• Saunier Duval has dropped their sponsorship following the Tour de France scandal involving Ricardo Ricco
• American Beef picked up sponsorship of Saunier Duval and the team will now be known as Scott American Beef
• Scott has dropped sponsorship of American Beef - formerly Saunier Duval because of the Ricco scandal, and the fact that they more than likely will not be invited to any of the grand tours next year.
• Scott has signed on as the bicycle sponsor of team Columbia.
• Saxo Bank will ride Specialized bicycles in 2009, ending their long standing partnership with Cervelo
• Cervelo will sponsor of their own team, tentatively called Cervelo TestTeam - unless a title sponsor is picked up.
• Rabobank will ride Giant bicycles in 2009 Season.
