This is why I needed a new bottom bracket.
Out with the old,
In with the new.
So, guess how I spent my evening...No, it wasn't that bad, but I did install my new bottom bracket and crankset. I had soaked my chain in some degreaser last night, and scrubbed down my cassette, so I have a shiny new drivetrain on my bike now. After shortening the chain and adjusting the front derailleur, it looks great and shifts even better. I can't wait to get it on the road. I went with a compact crankest 50/36. My old crank was 52/39. I've never ridden a compact crankset, so I don't know how much of a difference I will notice.
