This really doesn't qualify as a weird bike, but the application is certainly new and novel.
I saw this today on Bicycle Times' website (www.bicycletimesmag.com). The bike is from new bike brand Cogburn Outdoors, which is owned by the same parent company as Surly and Salsa. Their influences are evident in the fat tired CB4. The most outstanding feature - aside from the camo finish and flat black parts - is the aluminum scabbard which can hold your gun/bow/fishing pole.
I am not a hunter, nor do I like fishing, but I actually like the concept of this bike. If you're going to hit the back country, why not do it in a way that will have the least impact on the environment.
No price or specs have been released yet. Hopefully more info will be available at Interbike next month.
Go check out www.cogburnoutdoors.com for updates/info.
