There is a
petition on the internet to garner support for a velodrome to be built in
Salt Lake City. Some people may think that a velodrome in utah is a new thing, but Utah actually has had not one, but two velodromes. Not sure what a velodrome is,
click here. I couldn't find too much information about the previous velodromes, but I did manage to find a few pictures. Some of the big cycling stars of the day raced there, including
Major Taylor. Unfortunately they both burned down in the early 1900's.
