Salt Lake Velodrome, a history.

There is a petition on the internet to garner support for a velodrome to be built in Salt Lake City. Some people may think that a velodrome in utah is a new thing, but Utah actually has had not one, but two velodromes. Not sure what a velodrome is, click here. I couldn't find too much information about the previous velodromes, but I did manage to find a few pictures. Some of the big cycling stars of the day raced there, including Major Taylor. Unfortunately they both burned down in the early 1900's.

Wouldn't it be great to see racing like this is Salt Lake again? Sign the petition.
